Passion is a word that gets thrown around a lot.
Hollywood tries to tell us that it is a purely sexual expression. Many of us secretly yearn for some passion in our lives, but we just don’t know how to find it. Maybe the best that we can hope for is to be comfortable with our life rather than to find real meaning?
The funny thing about passion is that you don’t have to go anywhere to find it. Believe it or not, right now you are brimming with it. You just may not be in touch with it.
You are passionate about the central purpose of your life.
Find your central purpose, and you will live a more passionate life.
I will say this now: If you do not know what the central purpose of your life is, you can not be truly successful. You may earn money. You may even receives accolades. But you will never achieve the feeling of fulfillment which is the true form of the success that we all strive for.
Also know that you cannot discover your central life purpose with your mind. Only your heart can guide you to this discovery.
For most of us, our life purpose is a mystery.
We dearly want to discover that purpose, but we have no idea how to get started. And our life is so complex and confusing that we cannot imagine where we will find the time to start. Many of us don’t even take time to eat or to take proper care of ourselves.
