Hugh-
Found you through twitter. It's funny how things find us when when we're ready. I am rediscovering me right now. It has been so difficult, yet I am thankful. I appreciate your words. Thanks for stepping up and leading well.

Thank you so much for your comments, Armen! :-)
I'm just trying to help folks to organize their effort of getting control of their life's direction. Knowing themselves is step one. My next few posts will go into the next steps they will need to take in this effort.
My posts will not be comprehensive, of course. You can only cover so much in a blog post, as you well know. But people need to start somewhere. I am giving them that starting point.
By the way, your blog is fantastic! :-)

Hi Hugh.

Good call here about knowing ourselves first, and then focusing elsewhere. Any good I am able to produce comes from understanding where I am coming from. Like Gary Vaynerchuk tells us about working with our DNA, we have our own set of experiences and skills that are different from everyone else, so ignoring those is like ignoring our internal pot of gold.

You are right that most people don't ask those introspective questions, and it is a huge gap in their thinking. If you don't ask yourself what your passions or interests are, you don't have a chance of figuring them out, to then pursue them.

Good set there of the steps of finding out who you are, as rediscovery can repeat a time or two.
